In her early years Maria was born to Hortensia Aguilar and Pablo Beteta in the Capital of Guatemala City. She Then Traveled to the United States with her parents where she was raised and resided in San Francisco city by Pacifica. In her early years she went to school in the bay area attending Immaculate Conception Academy where she met her high school sweetheart and forever love Christopher Brian Martinez. When she graduated shecontinued her education to be in the medical field and had worked in the hospital several years before getting married to Christopher on August 26,1978. They then decided to start a family where they were blessed to have two daughters. Years went by then they decided to move to Sacramento California in the city of Elk grove where they continued to raise their family and had their son. Their children are Michelle Marie Martinez, Anna Marie Martinez and Christopher Andrew Martinez. Maria Decided to work in the school district of Sacramento as a Bilingual School Teacher as a translator for the Spanish speaking families. She loved to encourage children of all ages she was a big encouragement and support system to let them know she was there for them to never give up. Maria also was big spokesperson for women in domestic violence and helped translate in the court systems as well. Throughout her life she served alongside her Husband Christopher Martinez in church and ministry where she loved worship. During fellowship she loved mentoring the young people of the church where she always welcomed them with open arms and always told them she was a phone call away. Maria's Focus on life was for everyone to have a spot in heaven and continue to develop there walk with God. Maria and Christopher were married 47 years when she passed, Her children Michelle, Anna and her son Christopher JR. Her grandchildren Ezekiel Benjamin and Esabella Rose will forever miss her and be in their hearts. Maria cherished her Grandchildren and loved to see them growing up even consistently prayed for them. Especially, hoping for the best for them.
