Maria del Carmen Santoyo Ortiz, 74, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by the love and cherished memories of her family.

Born on March 18, 1951, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, she was the daughter of J. Jesús Santoyo and Catalina Ortiz. From a young age, María was known for her kind spirit and loving heart, qualities she shared generously with everyone she met throughout her life.

She was a devoted and loving wife to Juan José Quiroga Ramírez, with whom she built a life centered on love, family, and faith. Together they raised a beautiful family that became her greatest pride and joy. María was a dedicated and affectionate mother to her children, Juan José Quiroga Santoyo, Pablo Quiroga Santoyo, Norma Quiroga Santoyo, and Brenda Quiroga Santoyo, who will always treasure the love, guidance, and strength she gave them.

She is also remembered fondly by her siblings, Miguel Santoyo Ortiz, Jorge Santoyo Ortiz, Francisco Santoyo Ortiz, Eustolia Santoyo Ortiz, María Asunción Santoyo Ortiz, and Nancy Santoyo Ortiz, along with many other relatives and loved ones.
