Maria del Carmen Ramirez, born on August 18, 1970, in Chicomuselo, Chiapas, Mexico, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 5, 2026, surrounded by her family. She spent the majority of her life in her hometown of Chicomuselo before relocating to Clinton, Mississippi, where she enjoyed the last two years of her life.Maria was a devoted member of the First Pentecostal Church of Jackson, where her faith and community involvement greatly enriched her life and the lives of those around her. She was known for her love of plants and her remarkable culinary skills, often sharing her passion for cooking with her family and friends.She is remembered as a proud matriarch who cherished her family above all else. Maria is survived by her husband, Felepe Sanchez-Perez, and her daughters, Dalila Sanchez and her husband Tomas, and Odilia Sanchez. She is also survived by her sons, Felix Sanchez, Henry Sanchez, Kevin Sanchez, Estiban Sanchez, Isai Sanchez, and Arbensis Sanchez. Maria’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: granddaughters Yoana Munoz, Kimberly Munoz, Michelle Roblero, Sarai Roblero, Betsabe Roblero, Victoria Roblero, and Adara Sanchez, and her grandson Caleb Munoz.Maria del Carmen Ramirez's warmth and devotion to her family will be forever cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.Visitation services will take place on March 14, 2026, at the First Pentecostal Church of Jackson, starting at 11:00 AM and concluding at 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, with interment at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland scheduled for 4:00 PM.
