Maria Blas, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026 at the age of 95, at her home in Bowling Green, Fl. Surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born on May 1, 1930, in Guanajuato, Mexico. She lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband of 80 years, Guadalupe Blas, Sr. and their 3 sons. Maria is survived by her 11 children: Lupe Jr., Maria (Javier) Flores, Cruz (Linda) Blas, Juan Blas, Ismael (Isabel) Blas, Joel (Maria T.) Blas, Luis Blas, Jaime (Cindy) Blas, Miguel (Azucena) Blas, Jessie (Milly) Blas, Erica (Javier) Solis; 35 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and 41 great-great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory and miss her deeply. Throughout her 95 years, Maria touched many lives with her wisdom, humor, and unwavering love. She had a passion for gardening, flowers, and cooking. Especially preparing her famous mexican dishes for her family and friends. She had a generous heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Maria was known for her warm smile and caring personality, making everyone feel welcomed and loved. In our hearts, her legacy will live on forever as a remarkable woman who made a lasting impact on her family, friends, and community. She truly was the heart of our family. While our hearts are heavy with loss, we are comforted by the love she leaves behind. Maria was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church. We would love to extend our gratitude to Sunshine health and Good Shepherd Hospice who helped with her care. A memorial and viewing service will be held on March 16, 2026 at Robarts Funeral Home in Wauchula Fl. From 6pm to 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am on March 17, 2026 at St. Michaels church followed by her burial at Bowling Green cemetary immediately after the service. Family and Friends who knew and loved Maria are invited to join us in honoring and celebrating her life. We are encouraging everyone to wear pinks and white in honor of her favorite color.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
