Marguerite Anderson

Marguerite Anderson, age 91, of Coopersville, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Born in Marion, Michigan, to the late Archie and Evelyn (Toering) Cudney, she married Bud Anderson on June 12, 1954, in Grand Rapids. The couple shared nearly six decades of marriage filled with quiet joys and shared adventures.

Marguerite cherished traveling with Bud, especially the trips to visit their daughter Cathy in Arkansas and their memorable journey together to Colorado Springs. She found deep fulfillment in her large and loving family, who remember her gentle spirit and the steady presence she offered throughout her long life.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Tom) Barrigar, Cathy Vargo, Cindy (Dean) Lemmon, Charyl (Ken) Posobiec, and Jan (Doug) Johnson; her grandchildren, Jenny Vargo and her three children, Justin Holt, Kurt Barrigar, Damon Barrigar, Brad Holt, Andy Posobiec, Nick Johnson, and Nathan Johnson. Marguerite will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Bud in Maple Hill Cemetery.
