March 28, 1930 - March 5, 2026Satsuma - Margaret "Granny" Simmons (Griffin), age 95, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at her home in Satsuma, Florida. Born on March 28, 1930, in Opp, Alabama, Margaret lived a long and fulfilling life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Dottie and George Griffin. She was also predeceased by her loving husband Lonnie. Throughout her life, Margaret was known for her loving and supportive nature. She had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her family meant everything to her, and she treasured every moment spent with them.Margaret is survived by her children, Charles Rowell (Corrine) and Karen Cox; her grandchildren, Margaret Britnell (Steven), Janet Raynor (Josh), Jimmy Cox (Luanne), Timothy Cox (Christy), Betty Jo McKinney, Michael Rowell (Cali), George Rowell (Charity), Joseph Cox (Zoe), Jennifer Rowell. And many great-great grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her kindness and devotion.In addition to her deep love for her family, Margaret found joy in quilting and playing bingo. These hobbies brought her happinessand allowed her to connect with others in meaningful ways.Margaret's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her. May her warmth and generosity continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.There will be a celebration of life at a later date.Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Center assisted the family.
