She was a member of Willow Spring Baptist Church. Margaret received her education in the public schools of Edgefield, South Carolina where she graduated from W E Parker High School in 1969. During her working life she worked as a Nurses Aide. Margaret was a member of Women Home Aide Society #126.In addition to parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Johnnie Gilliam, James Gilliam, Liza Phillips, Carrie Lindsey and Dorothy Phillips.She leaves to cherish and honor her memory; son, Marcus Phillips of Tennesse; two grandchildren Markasia Phillips and Marcus Phillips, Jr.; sister, Maggie Phillips of Greewood, SC; two brothers, George (Pamela) Phillips of Maryland and O W Phillips of Johnston, SC; neices, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.The family is at the home of her sister, Maggie Phillips, 310 Ellenburg Avenue, Greenwood, SC .As the family go through their hour of bereavement, please include the family in your prayers when you bow to pray.Butler and Sons Funeral Home is honored to serve the Phillips Family.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Margaret Phillips, please visit our floral store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
