She was united in marriage to her "One and only love," David Paul Chyla on April 23, 1949. David preceded Margaret in death.Margaret had a lifelong devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, who she fondly referred to as "My Lady." Mother Mary was Margaret's sure strength in times of trial and adversity.Momma's philosophy in life was simple… "ACCEPT."Margaret will be lovingly remembered for her HUGS. She was never shy, when hugging everyone she met, with her enduring smile and warmth.Well done, my good and faithful servant. – Matthew 25:21Margaret is the loving mother of six daughters: Kathleen (Thomas Colleen (TR Theresa (Ronald), Margaret (Gregg Patricia, and Louise (Michael). She is the cherished "Busha" of ten grandchildren: David (Kelly), Shari (Ben), Stacy (Nathan), Adam (Stephanie), Heather (Paul), Christine (Michael), Jessica, Megan, Nathan (Joelle), and Natalie (Roger); and fourteen greatgrandchildren: Makiya (Gavin), Collin, Aralinn, Christian, Gabriel, Griffin, Mason, Kyra, Nova, Keller, Harrison, Kenzley, Graham, and Marilee. Margaret was preceded in death by her two grandsons: Justin and Jesse Gamache. Margaret is survived by her brother, James Zylka; sister, Caroline Reisinger; and brother-in-law, Robert Chyla. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.Family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. at the St. Therese Chapel at the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill (second floor), 1525 Carmel Road, Hubertus, WI 53033.Rosary Service will begin at: 3:30 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Jude Peters, OCD and Rev. Joseph Dominic, SAC concelebrating.Private entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee, WI.Contributions to charities of one's choice in Margaret Mary's name are appreciated.The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford is serving the family.
