Margaret Mary Carswell

Margaret Mary Carswell, aged 83, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Clio, Michigan. Born on June 30, 1942, in Dearborn, Michigan, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Margaret was known for her strong work ethic and deep dedication to her family. She took great joy in improving her home and creating a warm, welcoming space where loved ones could gather. Her house was often filled with the laughter of her cherished grandchildren, whom she adored.

In her quieter moments, Margaret found pleasure in simple things. She enjoyed watching the Game Show Network, enthusiastically answering questions alongside the contestants, and she was a devoted football fan, especially of the Detroit Lions.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Diane Walzak, her great-granddaughter Adilyn Gray, and her parents, Peter and Charlotte Zager. Margaret is survived by her daughters Renee Collins (Doug) and Cheryl Walzak (Darla Kutcher); her grandchildren Angela Riley (Joe), Donald Gray (Ben), Shelly Gray (Johnny), Kimberly Adkins (Josh), and Austin Gray (Breanna); five great-grandchildren; and her brother Lawrence Zager (Naomi). Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
