Born on September 3, 1957, in Portsmouth, VA, Peggy was a beacon of joy and inspiration to all who knew her.Growing up in a military family, Peggy experienced the unique adventure of moving frequently before her family settled in Virginia Beach during her high school years. It was there that she formed a lifelong friendship with Inga Arrington Ferrell. Peggy graduated from Cox High School, creating memories and friendships that would last a lifetime.Peggy embraced life with an unparalleled zest and was well-known for her happy-go-lucky spirit. She had an incredible ability to make those around her feel loved and cherished, always willing to share her time, laughter, and kindness. Her career journey included working at Philadelphia Cold Cuts and various restaurants in Virginia Beach, but it was her talent as a Graphic Artist that truly showcased her creativity and eye for detail.Beyond her professional life, Peggy had a nurturing soul. She delighted in tending to her beloved pets and plants, finding peace and beauty in their growth. Her passion for sewing brought joy not only to herself but to those with whom she shared her creations.Preceded in death by her father, Captain John Joseph Kehoe, Jr., retired USN, her mother, Joan Marie McNamara Kehoe, and her brother, Robert John Kehoe, Peggy leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her siblings: Joan Marie Kehoe, John Joseph Kehoe III, Jacqueline Kehoe Jennette (Steve), Tracy Kathleen Kehoe, and Bonnie Kehoe, her sister-in-law. Peggy also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whose lives she touched deeply.A private celebration of Peggy's life will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of her love for animals, donations may be made to your local animal shelter in her honor.Peggy's legacy of love, friendship, and generosity will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
