Margaret Beaver ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Service - Vinita on Mar. 10, 2026.Margaret June Beaver, the oldest daughter, was born to Henry and Henrietta Johnson on August 17, 1954, in Vinita, Oklahoma. On March 9, 2026, her address was changed to that mansion in the sky, where there will be "No Mores" no sickness, no pain, no tears, no suffering, or sorrow.June, as she liked to be called, graduated from Vinita High School in 1972. During chorus competitions she received superior solo ratings. She attended college at Northeastern Oklahoma A and M College in Miami, Oklahoma for a brief period of time, then moved to Denver, Colorado, where she met and married Robert Beaver. Three children were born from this union. From childhood to adulthood, she was a member of Bethel A.M.E. in Vinita, Oklahoma, until it closed. She then became a member of Serenity Missionary Baptist Church in Vinita. June was employed at Home of Hope for several years as a Certified Medication Aide. She volunteered to go on trips in and out of state with the residents, helped with the equine program, and went to the Special Olympics to cheer them on. When any of the residents did not get to go home for the holidays she took them home with her. She made sure the residents' needs, daily living skills and goals were met. June loved to sing, cook, smoke forbidden cigarettes, and drink Pepsi. If she heard the song "Atomic Dog" playing, she would get up and dance. June had a stubborn personality at times and there was no arguing with her about, if the Denver Broncos lost a game. One year after the Broncos won the Super Bowl she "Mooned" her siblings. She was funny and loved to meddle and harass people she knew.Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert Beaver; her parents, Henry, and Henrietta Johnson; her grandparents, Nicholas and Wadie Ramsey, Andy, and Rhoda Johnson; her, siblings, Linda Carney, Mark Johnson, Nicholas Mason and Russell Johnson, plus numerous aunts, and uncles.Left to cherish her memory and love is her daughter, Yashica Davis and husband Kevin, daughter, Chanell Beaver and her son, Robert Beaver, II; siblings, Loretta Mayhew and husband Edgar, Rita Menson and husband Omar, Paul and Paula Johnson; five grandchildren, Ka'leah Davis and husband Deonte`, their children, Nav, Kater and Kapri, Sha`leah Davis and her daughter, Neveah, and Tashica Davis; six nieces, two nephews, three great nephews, three great-great nephews, nine great nieces, four great-great nieces and one great-great-great nephew; and her Aunt Juanita Beasley.the family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 6-7 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita, Rev.
