She was 72 years old.Meg was born on August 29, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. Her family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1955, where her parents lived until 2012. Meg attended Coronado High School in Scottsdale Arizona and Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She was always known for having her service animals to help her during her battle with her health and she was a large participant in the Happy Tails organization. In her younger days, she was a great athlete, mostly focusing on softball. Her happiest memories were those of playing left field. She loved passing on her love of the sport to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Survived by her children Carlie (Brian), Adam (Charmaine) and Kimberly (Shane), her grandchildren Elizabeth (Steven), Amalia, Wyatt, Dylen, Zoey and Hunter, her great grandchildren Rhys, Vaughn, Clementine and Llewyn, and her sister Carmen.Services will be held in Sedona the first week of June. Please reach out to the family for details. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Valley in her memory.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
