Marcio Tulio Martinez, a devoted husband, loving father, and faithful pastor, passed peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on February 2, 1963, in Olanchito, Yoro, Honduras, he carried the warmth of his homeland and the light of his faith throughout his life.
For more than twenty years, Marcio pastored with compassion and wisdom, touching countless lives through his commitment to sharing the Gospel. Yet his greatest joy remained his family. Known for his quick wit, helpful spirit, and genuine kindness, he had a gift for making others feel seen and valued, welcoming everyone with warmth and quiet acts of service.
His journey led him from the hills of Honduras to communities in Miami, Florida, and Clayton, North Carolina, where he built a life centered on faith, family, and purpose. Marcio is survived by his loving wife, Irma Martinez; his children, Marcio Tulio Martinez Jr., Wendy Martinez, Edson Jair Martinez, Cristian Martinez, Kevin Josue Ortiz, and Bryan Martinez; and a host of grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory.
