It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcella L. Harstine of Marion, Indiana, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Spaulding and Gertrude Spaulding (Holly); her close friend Walter Harris (Pete); her son Phillip; her granddaughter Tracy King; her great grandchild Shonda King Watson; her grandsons, Mark and Randy Soultz; and her siblings, Virginia Eib (Bud), Vivian Phearson (Victor), Evelyn Furnish (Delbert), Norma Ferguson (Pepper), Raymond Spaulding (Bud) and Wayne Spaulding.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Harstine (Kenny); her children, Richard King (Judy), Cheryl Parrish (Jeff) and Conrad Harstine (Marion); her grandchildren, Barbara King (Paula Arnold), Tammi Cornett (Bennie), Marion, Karissa O'Neill (Jim) of Corpus Christi, TX, Aaron Parrish and Brian Harstine; her sisters-in-law, Mary and Joan Spaulding; her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Cornett, Hailey O'Neill and Jaelyn Cruzan; and her great great grandchildren, Leena, Layna Phillips, Paisley and Kensley Watson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel (1341 N Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN 46952).

In honor of her constant companion Shadow, memorials may be made to the Marion-Grant County Human Society, 505 S. Miller Ave., Marion, IN 46953.
