Maraea May Chun of Hilo, Hawaii, passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 93. With her warmth and kindness, she touched the lives of many, creating memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Quan Hee Chun. Maraea is survived by her sons, Alfred Chun and his wife Helen of Hilo, and Paul Chun and his wife Janine; her brother Rodney Haili-Hilo and his wife Pearl; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
Her family will carry forward the love and gentle spirit she shared throughout her long and meaningful life.
