Manuel Galvan Jr. passed away at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. A profoundly hardworking man, he was an incredibly devoted single father to his three sons, Christopher, Michael, and Manuel III. Known for his loyalty and unwavering work ethic, Manuel was an admired and respected employee at Golden Corral Restaurant for more than thirty years. Even during his illness, he often expressed his desire to return to work, a testament to his deep commitment to his co-workers and employer. His dedication was recognized many times with the “Employee of the Month” award.
