Manuel Contreras, Jr.

Manuel Contreras, Jr. passed away on March 8, 2026. Born on January 16, 1964, he was a man who placed the happiness of his family and friends above all else. His radiant smile, infectious laughter, and genuine heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michael Jordan, he shared his passion for sports with the same warmth that defined his character.

He is survived by his children, Joshua (Jessica Pruneda) Contreras, Amanda Contreras, and Desiree (Anthony Murphy) Contreras; his brothers Chris Contreras, Ruben (Janice) Contreras, Timothy Contreras, Casey Contreras, and Robert Hoyer; his sister Irene Lynn Hoyer; and his step-father Gary Hoyer. He was a proud grandfather to Gabriel, Geremiah, and Aubrey Contreras, and Alonzo, Angel, Adonis, and Alijah Murphy. His memory will be cherished by these loved ones and by many friends and relatives.

Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Sr., his mother Irene C. Hoyer, his brother Manuel Bradford Contreras, and his step-mother Karen Contreras.
