De La Cruz JrHe was a beloved husband, father, grandfather great grandfather & brother.He was born & raised in San AntonioHe graduated from Fox Tech High School Class of 1959. For many years he was on their high school reunion committeeHe was a member & usher for St Patrick's churchHe was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, win or lose!He retired from Kelly AFB after 28 years. While working at Kelly AFB he served in Vietnam as civil service at 3 different bases.After retirement he worked at family restaurant The Curve for several yearsHe loved to dance and listen to his oldies or conjunto music but more than anything he loved his familyHe shared 65 years of marriage with his wifeHe was a wonderful father, grandfather & great grandfather. Always there!He is preceeded in death by his parents Manuel & Juanita De La CruzHe survived by his wife, Dolores LunaHis son Daniel, Daughter Diana, Daughter Monica, Son In Law Carlos, Grandsons Danny Boy, Christopher, John, Raymond, Adam, Cristian. Granddaughters Elisa, Maryjane, Valerie & Giovana along with 9 great grandchildrenHis siblings Robert, Grace & ReneHe is now resting with his doggie, MaxManuel was respected by many & loved by all. One of the last old schoolWe thank Pacific Hospice for their loving care & supportVisitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. with a Celebration of Life prayer service to begin at 6:00p.m. at Alamo Funeral Home, 624 N. Alamo, San Antonio, Texas 78215.Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church1114 Willow St., San Antonio, Texas 78208Rosary to begin at 10:00a.m. and Mass to follow.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
