Born on August 25, 1943, in Baltimore County, Maryland, Mamie was the cherished daughter of Anton Schultz and Mamie Wagner.Mamie's life was a testament to her warm-hearted nature and her ability to light up any room with her quick wit and infectious smile. She possessed a rare talent for making people feel valued and cherished, effortlessly bringing joy and laughter into the lives of everyone she met.In 1981, Mamie married Calvin McNamee, and together they embarked on a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Their 38 year marriage was a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Calvin predeceased her, but their legacy of love continues to inspire their family.Mamie was a devoted mother to her children, Anton and Steven Marx. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, Anna and Michael Marx, and great-grandchild, Riley Marx.Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was a constant source of strength and encouragement to her sibling, Patricia (Patsy) Cross.Throughout her career, Mamie was a self-employed general house and business cleaner for over three decades. She found immense satisfaction in her work, building lasting relationships with her clients who appreciated not only her meticulous attention to detail but also the warmth and cheer she brought into their homes.Mamie's legacy is one of love, laughter, and compassion. She is predeceased by her parents, Anton Schultz and Mamie Wagner, her stepfather, Edward Wagner, her brother, Anton Schultz, her husband, Calvin McNamee, and her son, Frederick Marx, Jr. Though she has departed from this world, her memory will forever be a guiding light for her family and friends.As we celebrate Mamie's life, we remember her as a beacon of joy and love, someone who knew how to make life brighter and more beautiful for everyone she encountered.
