Mamie Louise Irby Jones

Mamie Louise Irby Jones was born in Anderson, South Carolina on November 17, 1955 to the late Lillie Mae Irene Brown and Robert Earl Irby. She passed away on March 6, 2026.

Affectionately known as LouLou by her family and friends, Mamie lived a private yet deeply devoted life. She was unfailingly loyal to those she loved and had a warm way about her that made her quick to befriend others. She took great pride in her appearance and carried a natural style and beauty that those around her will always remember.

In addition to her parents, Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Earl Jones; two brothers, Michael Irby and Robert Irby, Jr.; and two sisters, Robbie Irby and Lillian Irby.

She is survived by her two children, Royricus (Emma) Jones and Corry (Brandy) Jones, both of Anderson, South Carolina; eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Vera (Donnie) Davis and Patricia (Marcel) Irby; one brother, Aaron (Patricia) Irby; and her significant other, Donnie Ray. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory.
