TRUMANN - Magdalena Thomas, 72, of Trumann, departed this life Friday, March 13, at the family residence. She was born Aug. 27, 1953, in Infanta, Pangasinan, Philippines. Magdalena was formerly of Los Alamitos, Calif., before moving to Trumann 35 years ago. She worked for Butterball for over 20 years and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Thomas; one grandson, Dyland Bossert; and her parents, Francisco Apolinar and Dominga Merador Merindo.She is survived by two daughters, Angie (Jason) Pagan and Donna Thomas, both of Trumann; two sons, Robbie Thomas of Trumann and Brian Thomas of Omaha, NE; two sisters, Pacita (David) Patterson of Fort Bragg, Calif., and Florida Rosialda of the Philippines; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye.Pallbearers will be Levi Thomas, Patrick Pagan, Devon Pagan, Louis Jones, Jr., Devin Holman, and Brandon Hedrick.Online registry: www.thompsonfuneralhome.net
