Maeonia Coker

Maeonia “Mae” Coker, age 93, of Demorest, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Born on November 26, 1932, to the late Ernest and Gertrude Brock, Mae spent her life in the community she loved. She was married to J.D. Coker and together they raised a family that remained the center of her world. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Coker.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Coker and Linda King; grandchildren, Tink Thomas, Chris Coker, Kimberly Coker, Brandon Blackburn, Kyle Blackburn, and Kaylin King; great-grandchildren, Shelby Thompson, Jesse Thomas, Shane Willis, Keerah Sims, Kenyada (KJ) Sims Jr., Kamrehn Sims, Abram Blackburn, and Asher Blackburn; and great-great-grandchildren, Raven Willis, Ava Willis, Maggie Willis, Carmen Vogel, and Cooper Vogel.

Mae will be remembered for the quiet strength and deep devotion she showed to her family across many generations.
