Lynette was born in Dodge City, Kansas to Wilfred and Beatrice Newman on January 18, 1966. She was raised in Topeka after the family relocated there in 1970. Lynette graduated from high school in 1985. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to music and watching TV.Lynette will be missed by her parents, Wilfred and Beatrice Newman of Topeka; her brother, Steven J. Newman of Lincoln, Nebraska; her sister, Lisa Newman Simon, and brother-in-law, Douglas Simon of Andale, Kansas; and her aunt, Alice Schoonover of Wichita, Kansas.Lynette will be greeted in heaven by her maternal grandparents, Alex and Janice Legleiter, her paternal grandparents, Jadie and Leola Newman, her aunts, Beulah Newman, Phyllis Newman Hukriede, and Margaret (Muggs) Newman, and her uncles, David Newman, Jerry Newman and Tim Schoonover.Funeral services will be private at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Topeka.Condolences may be sent online at www.kevinbrennanfamily.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
