Lynette Kay Claflin

Lynette Claflin, 78, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Sanford Hospice House in Fargo.

Lynette Claflin passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the deep love she had for her family and friends.

Lynette is survived by her loving husband, John Claflin. Together they built a life centered around family and five children. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is also survived by her children: Scott (Barbara) Claflin, Jeff (Angela) Claflin, Gerard (Melanie) Torno, Renae (Jimmy) Berg, Melissa (Tim) Newman, and her sister, Lavonne (Frank) Rhue. Lynette's legacy continues through her twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

Lynette enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life. She loved sewing, crocheting, knitting, painting, reading, and gardening. She especially enjoyed spending time at home, watching her husband work in the yard and spending time together in the garage. She was very proud of her husband and the work he did as a truck driver and enjoyed hearing about his travels and experiences on the road.

Lynette will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Funeral: 11:00am, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND with a visitation one hour prior. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.
