Luz "Lucy" Killian

Luz "Lucy" Killian, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, in Fairfield, Connecticut, surrounded by love. Born to the late Dionisio and Trigidia Colon-Sanchez, Lucy lived a life centered on deep devotion to family, hard work, and a vibrant spirit that could light up any room.

She was a proud and loving mother to her daughter Carmen Valle and her late son Angel Valle II, cherishing both with all her heart. She is survived by her daughter Carmen and son-in-law Carlos Agosto, who cared for her with great devotion. Lucy was the proud grandmother of Tasha Agosto, Ian Jackson, and her late grandson Angel Valle III, all of whom held a special place in her heart. She also leaves behind her brother Dionisio "Junior" Sanchez, whom she cared for deeply, and was predeceased by her brother Samuel "Sammy" Sanchez, along with many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends who will miss her presence.

Known to all simply as "Lucy," she was beloved for her contagious laugh, wonderful sense of humor, and bold, firecracker personality. She had a natural gift for connecting with people and made friends wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression through her warmth and quick wit. At her core, Lucy was a true family woman who loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and unconditionally. Her generous heart, kindness, and strength defined her, as did her willingness to help others without hesitation.

Lucy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved traveling with her daughter, visiting the casino, and especially cooking for family and friends, bringing everyone together around a table filled with food, conversation, and laughter. Her love, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will live on in all those who were blessed to know her.
