Luz Hilda Aguiar

Luz Hilda Ramirez Aguiar, 88, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She was born on October 18, 1937, in Caguas, Puerto Rico, to Jose Ramirez Mendez and Susana Aguiar Rabassa.

Together with her husband, Pablo Delgado Medina, Luz raised a family that reflected her deep love and quiet strength. She was a devoted sister to Carlos Ramirez Aguiar and Cesar Ramirez Aguiar. She is survived by her children, Edna Delgado Stephens, Hilda Delgado (Bamdad Pourladian), and Pablo Delgado (Jeyda Bernard); her grandchildren, Luis Cruz (Krystel Campbell), Alex Cruz, Elias Pourladian (Allison), Irene Guenther (Mitchell), Jeydi Delgado (Kyle Haynes), Paola Delgado (Derrick Lugo), and Nicole Delgado; and her great-grandchildren, Elam Pourladian, Emil Pourladian, Lily Guenther, and Sam Guenther.

For more than thirty years, Luz worked at Banco Popular in Puerto Rico, where her professionalism and strong work ethic earned her lasting respect. She found great pleasure in solving jigsaw puzzles, creating crafts, reading, and listening to music, each pursuit offering both personal joy and cherished time with her family. Above all, she treasured family gatherings, welcoming loved ones with warmth and making every occasion feel like home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Luis Ramirez Aguiar.
