"Kay" Luwana Coile

Luwana “Kay” Coile, age 79, of Danielsville, Georgia, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on June 12, 1946, in Athens, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clint Dunson and Leta Ventable Dunson.

Kay worked as a bookkeeper for Superior Pants, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. A longtime and faithful member of Union Baptist Church, she found deep joy in her church family and lived her life guided by her faith.

Above all, Kay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl Coile of Danielsville; her son and daughter-in-law, Heath and Julie Coile; her daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Jeffrey Dowdy; her grandchildren, Justin McCurley, Heather Guest, and Nash Coile; and her great-grandchildren, Walker McCurley and Ellie and Eliza Guest.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her steadfast faith, and the kindness she showed to everyone around her.
