Lula Mae Earley Beverly

Lula Mae Earley Beverly of Ahoskie, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Franklin, Virginia. Born on October 15, 1932, in Hertford County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Henry Earley and Helen Slaughter Earley. She was the widow of Joe Beverly, Jr.

Lula lived a life rooted in family and community. She is remembered fondly by her two daughters, Bernetta Cherry of Franklin, Virginia, and Christine Beverly of Greenville, North Carolina; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, Katie Early, Dorothy Beverly, and Elizabeth Earley, all of Ahoskie, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
