Ludwig Pisch ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Schneider Funeral Home - Hatboro on Mar. 17, 2026.Ludwig "Lou" Pisch, age 81, a resident of Davenport, Florida, formerlySea Isle City, New Jersey and Hatboro, Pennsylvania passed awaypeacefully at his home on March 7, 2026 after a year long battle withcancer surrounded by his wife and daughter. He was the devotedhusband of Diane (Dee) Pisch with whom he shared 47 years ofmarriage.Lou was born in Budweis, Czechoslovakia, the son of the late Frank andRose (Zika) Pisch. He was raised in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, where helived for many years while raising his family. Later in life, he moved toSea Isle City, New Jersey, where he enjoyed the shore and spendingtime with friends and family. In recent years, he made his home inDavenport, Florida.Growing up, Lou enjoyed playing soccer and served as goalie for theVereinigung Erzgebirge club team for many years.Lou was a 1964 graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School. He thenjoined the Air National Guard of Pennsylvania in 1965 and was areserve of the Air Force. While serving, he earned a Small ArmsExpert Marksmanship Ribbon and the Air Reserve Forces MeritoriousService Ribbon. He was honorably discharged in February 1972.Lou then joined the Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro. Throughyears of dedication and service, Lou rose through the ranks to becomeChief. Lou began his career at Tinius Olsen Testing Machine Companywhere he worked for 48 years until his retirement in 2013.In his free time, Lou enjoyed working with his hands, creating stainedglass windows, gardening, and spending time at the shooting range. Healso loved volunteering in Sea Isle City, educating visitors about thehistory of the area-a passion he cherished throughout his life.In addition to his wife Dee, Lou is survived by his daughter Wendy andhusband Eric, of Telford; his two granddaughters, Brianna and Skylar;a brother Wenzel and sister-in-law Joan; his niece Cheryl (Joe) andnephew Eric (Tina). He was preceded in death by his godson BrianPisch.Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Saturday, March28th after 10:00am in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Rd,Hatboro and are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:00am.His interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lou'sname may be made to the Enterprise Fire Company, 36 Byberry Road,Hatboro, PA 19040.
