Lucy “Lucia” Corsetti

Lucy “Lucia” Corsetti, formerly of Providence, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, at West Shore Medical Center, where she had resided for the past eight years. She would have turned 96 in June.

A devoted daughter, she lovingly cared for her parents, the late Amato and Maria (Scorpio) Corsetti, throughout their lives. For most of her adult life, Lucy worked as a bookkeeper, an occupation in which she took great pride and found daily satisfaction.

She was the sister of the late Mary (Corsetti) Boffi, Victoria (Corsetti) Rignanese, Yolanda (Corsetti) Mazzeo, Bernard Corsetti, Louis Corsetti, and Gloria (Corsetti) Iafrate. Lucy was cherished by many nieces and nephews, who will remember her competitive spirit and love of playing cards, especially the games of War and Go Fish, which she approached with determination and delight.
