Lucy Jonette Sparks

Lucy Jonette Sparks, 54, of Sheridan passed away on March 5, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born July 17, 1971, in Little Rock to Harold Ernest and Wenona Faye Fox Medlock, Lucy worked at Arkansas Health Center for 31 years. Working there has become a family tradition. Her mother, sisters and all three daughters worked there over the years. Lucy enjoyed reading, canning pickles, and gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Mark Sparks, of the home; children Samuel, Stephanie, Taylor, Devin Bakarich along with Ethan Sparks; siblings Sylvia, Harold Jr., Kathy, Marilyn, Ricky, Millicent, Frank, Tina, Trudy, Carroll, Beverly and Joy; grandchildren Darrien Jones, Roman Dolan, Gabriel Bakarich, Hayden Harrison, Liam Bakarich as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
