Lucretia Brinker-Warren was born September 4, 1944, in Atlanta, Chickasaw County, Mississippi to the late W.A. (Tom) and Mary Lou Chandler-Brinker.

Lucretia left this life peacefully on Friday, March 6th in her home surrounded by her loved ones.

After graduating from Calhoun County High School, she made Erie, PA her home and worked tirelessly at various jobs including The Boston Store, St. Vincent Medical Center in the kitchen, and Hamot Medical Center in housekeeping and other areas. In her free time, she enjoyed going to church, listening to music, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and watching Basketball, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren, whom she cared for dearly.

Lucretia accepted Christ at an early age and united at Morning Star Baptist Church and Second Baptist Church. An avid churchgoer, she found solace and community within her faith until declining health prevented her from attending services. Despite this, her unwavering belief and spirit continued to inspire those around her. Lucretia will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Lucretia was preceded in death by her parents; W.A. (Tom) and Mary Lou Chandler-Brinker, her husband Robert R. Warren. Her siblings; Leno Brinker, Mary Emma Jennings, Lou Ada “Ham” Echoles, Thomas J. “Stag” Brinker Jr., Cedell “Bo” Brinker, and Shirley Faye Gardner. One grandson Jaree R. Warren, one granddaughter Takiah S. (Woulda) Warren, and one great-grandson Nyon Zi'Ree Warren.

Lucretia leaves to cherish her loving memory of her children; Marcia Warren of Erie, PA, Kelvin (Slennia) Warren of Pike Road, AL, Randell Warren of Erie, PA. Three stepsons; Robert R. Warren Jr. of Laurel, MS, Binnie R. Warren and Charles J. Warren of Erie, PA. One stepdaughter; Rose Warren-Stapp of Erie, PA. Her siblings; Bernice Thomas of Erie, PA, Nadean McGregory of Woodland, MS, and Dorothy Maye Webb of Springfield Il. One brother-in-law; Harold Gardner of Chicago Il. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, a multitude of friends who will forever cherish her loving memory.

Friends may come to Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16504 for the viewing on Saturday, March 14th at 11:00 a.m. and are invited to a service there on Saturday, March 14th at 12:00 p.m. Following the service, the burial will take place in Erie Cemetery.
