Lucille Neptune ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Buhler Mortuary on Mar. 3, 2026.Mary Lucille Neptune was born on July 2, 1932 in Wanetta, Kansas to Mary and Lester Huddle. She married Marvin Neptune on January 4, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas. To this marriage, they had two daughters, Deborah Jean and Christina Lea. They lived in Wichita for 70 years.Lucille worked at Stat Labs in Wichita for several years as a lab technician. She also made wedding cakes for years along with her mother.She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church in Wichita. Lucille was also a member of the Red Hats Society.Lucille and Marvin were avid travelers and wintered in Mesa, Arizona for many years.Lucille passed away on March 2, 2026 at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler, Kansas at the age of 93 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Violet Miller.She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Arnold (Larry) of Hutchinson, KS and Christina Barnett (Eric) of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Greg Weis, Tiffany Weis, and Amy Barnett; eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Quinn (Rex) of California.Cremation is planned. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2026 at El Paso Cemetery, Derby, KS. A celebration of life will follow the service at Olive Garden in Derby.
