Lucille J. Coppola "Loving mother, grandmother & great-grandmother" Shelton, CT- Lucille (June) Coppola, 89, of Shelton and formerly of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Masonicare at the Bishop Wicke Health Center, in Shelton, with her family by her side. She was the widow of Joseph D. Coppola. Lucille was born in Greenwich, CT, on November 6, 1936, daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Taylor) June. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and cherished taking care of her family. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. For many years, she was an avid bowler. Lucille leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Wendy Loescher and her husband, Peter of Shelton, CT; son, Scott Coppola and his wife, Lisa of Cheshire, CT; grandchildren, Stephanie (Kyle) Cook, Lauren (Thomas) D'Orvilliers, Lindsay (Shawn) Coppola; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Lila. Arrangements: A calling hour for Lucille will be held on Saturday morning, March 14, 2026, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. A prayer service will follow the Wake at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Following the service, entombment will take place at the Calvary Queen of Peace Mausoleum in Waterbury.
