Funeral services are Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 2 PM CT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Bro. C L Wilborn and Bro. Roger Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Henagar Memorial Park. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM CT and 11 AM until service time on Wednesday.Lucille was born on April 26, 1927 in Chattanooga, TN. to parents, General Ernest and Winnie Lee Stoner Whitmire. She had worked in her younger years at Rossville Yarn and was a member of Macklin Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.Survivors include children, Gary Ivey, Anita Flynn(Michael), Toney Ivey(Brenda), grandchildren, Scooter Ivey, Sherry Ellis, Nathan Chandler, Christie Bowen(Lamar), Steve Flynn(Kelly), Casey Ivey(Emily), Anthony Ivey(Whitney), great-grandchildren, Michael Ivey(Jessica Dunn), Aaron Ellis, Lexi Marsee(Dillon), Morgan Durham(Levi), Gracie Garner(Alex), Natalie Davis, Mason Chandler, Carter Ivey, Liam Ivey, Ensley Ivey, great great-grandchildren, Jacob Ellis, Jackson Ellis, Mia Ivey, J D Durham, Henry Garner and coming soon, Baby Durham.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Barney Ivey, brother, LeRoy Whitmire and sister, Euva Tripp(Hershel).To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
