Lucille Elizabeth Chamberlain

Lucille Elizabeth Chamberlain, 91, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 11:20 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Snyder Village Health Center in Metamora. She was born on December 22, 1934 in Lacon, IL to Richard and Margaret A. (Mejesky) Sharick. She married Norman L. Chamberlain on June 21, 1952 in Varna, IL.

Surviving are her children, Marcie Craig of Metamora and Larry Chamberlain of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren Dawn Orren, Kelly (Chuck) Elwell, Todd (Jade) Smith, and Jesse (Sorina) Chamberlain; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Terry Craig.

Lucille worked as a clerk in the patent department at Caterpillar Tractor Company for 25 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star in East Peoria and Cloverleaf Chapter 1002. She enjoyed camping and traveling.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with Pastor Gary Salm officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
