She was born on April 27, 1926, in Jérémie, Haiti.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gérard Painson; her older sister, Odile Mauclair; and her cherished grandson, Wesley Painson.Lucienne lived a life defined by faith, resilience, and deep love for her family. She was known for her warmth, wisdom, and the comfort she brought to those around her. Her home was always a place of love, good food, and gentle guidance.She and her late husband Gérard were the proud parents of three children: Alex Painson, Gessy Painson, and Ronald Painson and his wife Juanita. She was a loving grandmother to Alexandria, Dieter, Joel, Denzel, Dominique, and Kourdaye, and a cherished great-grandmother to Jazzlyn, Jahzire, Raheem Jr., Royale, Amina, Nathan, and Janelle.Lucienne is also survived by her brothers Joseph "Joe" and his wife Anne, Jean "Ti Jean," and Arnold, many beloved nieces and nephews.Her love, strength, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.A private burial will be held for the family in Punta Gorda, Florida which can be seen via zoom.
