Lucia Natalia
February 8, 2024— March 7, 2026
Cuyahoga Falls, OH
Lucia Natalia, born on February 8, 2024, and called home on March 7, 2026, brought an extraordinary light into the lives of her family during her two brief years on earth. Named intentionally for the meaning of her name, she arrived at a time when her family needed her most, and her presence strengthened their bonds in ways they will carry forever. She deepened the love between her parents, Victoria (Piermarini) and Arnoldo, and became the prayed-for second child who filled their home with joy.
Lucia was a spunky, energetic little girl whose lively spirit lit up every room. Known affectionately by her mamá as a “hot mess express,” she moved constantly, snacked with gusto, flashed her cheesiest smile, and switched from wild and silly to sweetly angelic in an instant. She stayed close to her mamá, sharing their favorite song “Dancing in the Moonlight” and lighting up with delight whenever it played. She loved having her dimpled cheeks tickled and found calm in her papá’s lap, sharing sparkling water “bubbles,” stealing his chapstick, and asking for a spritz of his cologne. With her big sister Valentina, whom she called “Vále,” Lucia was inseparable, copying her every move—playing dress-up, singing, dancing, painting nails, coloring, and getting into mischief together. The sisters especially cherished bath time and sharing Mexican pan and café with their parents each morning.
Surrounded by a large and loving family, Lucia thrived in the warmth of weekly dinners, lively games of Italian cards, and the company of her many cousins. She was always in the middle of the fun, running to keep up with the older children, giggling, and sneaking sweets. She is welcomed into Heaven by her great-grandparents Emidio and Rosa Piermarini, Guadalupe and Josefina Ayala, Refugio and Natalia Torres, and her Zio Serafino.
She is survived by her parents, Victoria and Arnoldo; her sister Valentina; grandparents Pellegrino and Tina Piermarini (“Nonno” and “Nonna”) and Martha and Juvenal Ayala (“Titos”); great-grandmother Olimpia “EIO” Fatica; aunts and uncles Olivia, Emidio (Monica), Oscar (Claudia), Hermila (Juan)—her padrinos—and Hugo; and beloved cousins Selina, Gia Bella, Olimpia, Emiliano, Matias, Joshua, Emily, Jimena, and Owen. Her memory will live on in every family gathering, every milestone, and every moment her light is remembered.
