Lowell Collins ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Kepner Funeral Home - Woodsdale on Mar. 10, 2026.Collins, Lowell Edward, 85, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at the Continuous Care Center at Wheeling Hospital.He was born on June 14, 1940, in Burnwell, WV, son of the late Roy T. and Virginia M. Farrow Collins.Lowell was a graduate of McKinley High School, worked as a meat cutter for 43 years in WV and PA, and retired from Giant Eagle after 24 years. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Wheeling, WV.He loved people and could make anyone laugh. He was an incredible man who was always there if you needed him, and he always saw the good in people.In addition to his parents, Lowell was preceded in death by 1st wife, Mary Ellen Reichenbach Collins; siblings, Robert L. Collins, Barbara Ellen Leach, Wesley T. Collins, and Nancy Mae Collins; and his daughter, Christine Collins.Lowell is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Janet Irene Becker Collins; four siblings, Frederick R. Collins, Mary Jane (Stanley) Rogerson, Myrtle B. Schmalz, and Lois Jean Brombach; six children, Gary (Sally) Collins, Craig (Judy) Collins, Kevin (Stacey) Collins, Leigh Ann Cliser, June Cliser, and Amy (Phil) Rogacki; seven grandchildren, Mark (Laura) Collins, Danae McMaster, Crystal (Dennis) Hall, Amber (James) Dyer, Alex Collins, Cassie (Tyler) Schultz, and Matthew Collins; three great-grandchildren, Rylee Collins, David McMaster, and Julianne Collins; and several nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Friday, March 13, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church, 1232 National Road, Wheeling, WV with Reverend Joe Hill officiating.
