She was 86 years old, born on April 19, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. She lived a life devoted to family and friends.Louise was the beloved wife of 67 years to Peter Scalabrino. She was a loving, caring, supportive mother to her son Salvatore and daughter Lucille Divino (Steve). She was a devoted grandmother to Vincent and Steve Divino and Rebecca and Salvatore Scalabrino, as well as a proud great-grandmother to Stevie, Giovanni, and Lilah. Louise was also a loving sister to Genevieve Torre and cherished aunt to her nieces and nephews.Louise worked for many years for school safety at IS2 and PS3 and other schools on Staten Island.She enjoyed the holidays and Sunday dinners with her family. Louise was known for her kindness, warmth, and genuine care that she showed everyone she met. She will be remembered as a wonderful woman and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know her.A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Holy Child Church located at 4747 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, March 16, 2026, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
