Ethel “Louise” Carberry, 77, of Jonesborough, passed away at her home on Saturday morning, March 14, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born in Hawkins County to the late John and Genell (Blizzard) Parker, Louise spent her life caring for others with quiet devotion. She found deep joy in cooking for her family and friends and remained a faithful member of Logans Chapel Church, where she had previously served as Secretary of the Methodist Women.
Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and sister, and her father- and mother-in-law, Lee and Ruby Carberry.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Fred Carberry; sons Gary Carberry (Kim), Terry Carberry (April), and Larry Carberry (Kim); grandchildren Cody Carberry (Lindsay), Justin Carberry, and Jacob Carberry (Stephenee); great-grandchildren Josie and Jace Carberry; brother-in-law Jimmy Carberry (Vicki); one niece; and three nephews.
