Louise Butler

Louise Butler, age 94, of Rockwood, passed away on March 13, 2026. Born on March 19, 1931, she was a longtime member of Eureka Baptist Church in Rockwood. She spent many years serving as a cafeteria worker in the Roane County School system, and earlier in life worked as a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Butler; her parents, Ira and Claudia Carter; and her siblings, Escue Carter, Geneva Richardson, Wilma Hembree, and Nelma Carter.

Louise is survived by her sons, Dennis Butler (Elaine) and Mike Butler (Lori); her daughters, Linda Stooksbury (Terry) and Karen Wilson (Bill); ten grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
