Louise B. Mabry

Louise B. Mabry, 77, of Simpsonville, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Hilliard Billington. She graduated from Wade Hampton High School and was a longtime member of Mauldin Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society.

Louise owned and operated a residential and commercial cleaning business, taking great pride in the quality of her work. She possessed a vibrant personality and never met a stranger. Outspoken and always ready for conversation, she had a gift for making people feel welcome. She loved to travel and explore new places, though she was never fond of flying, and always cherished returning home. Louise also held a deep appreciation for antiques and art and was a passionate advocate for animals.

Her huge heart, kindness, warmth, and lively spirit touched everyone who knew her. In addition to her ex-husband, George Mabry, who remained her devoted caregiver and best friend for many years, she is survived by her sister, Sara Hendrix, and nephews David Hendrix, William Hendrix (Gary Brackett), Steven Hendrix, and John Charles Hendrix (Lisa, Paul). She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Patricia Hendrix, and nephews John Hendrix (Beth, Dustin and Renee) and Jeff Hendrix.
