Louisa Elizabeth "Beth" James

Louisa Elizabeth “Beth” James, a lifelong resident of Dublin, Texas, passed peacefully at her home on March 9, 2026. Born on September 19, 1950, to Frances and Thomas Stewart, Beth was known for her charismatic personality and generous heart. She never met a stranger, whether serving the community for 31 years at the Post Office or sharing her time with her beloved church family. Active in both her church and the wider community, she loved to travel, was an avid reader, and above all cherished her roles as a devoted friend and mother.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Thomas Stewart, and her brothers, Charles Stewart and Thomas Stewart Jr. She is survived by her children, Tracie Dipple, Jeremy and Robyn James, Melissa and Blake Bunton, Sarah and Michael Shelly, and Bethany and Peter Poulsen; her sister, Sharon Beck; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
