Beloved son of Lou and Vickie Lagrotteria; Brother Joe (Ink) Lagrotteria; Uncle of Vito; also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins; Louie was received into the arms of his late grandparents, Victor and Maria Celani, and Joseph and Margaret "Peggy" Lagrotteria, and uncles, Franco, and John Celani. Louie loved all sports, especially soccer and cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates. He had a passion for cooking and even attended culinary school, though it's been said his best creation was a mess, like any good chef! A true movie buff, he enjoyed nothing more than kicking back and watching a good film. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished time spent together, especially with his nephew, Vito, and his beloved dogs, Scrappy and Frankie. Friends received, Thursday 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. A private service will be held for his family. Entombment in Mt.
