Louie David Weaver

Louie David Weaver

Davis, OK

Louie David Weaver was born on September 26, 1938, in Seminole, to the late Harry Herman Weaver and Addie Mae (Young) McFarland. He passed away on March 10, 2026, in Sulphur at the age of eighty-seven.

Louie grew up in Seminole and graduated from Bowlegs High School before serving in the United States Navy. After an honorable discharge, he studied television and appliance repair at Okmulgee Tech and worked in Ardmore for several years. In 1982, he and his family moved to Davis, where he owned and operated Weaver’s Appliance until his retirement in 2003. He later worked for the Chickasaw Nation. He married Virginia Mae Babb on September 26, 1979, in Gainesville, Texas. She preceded him in death on January 10, 2010, as did three brothers, Junior, Ronnie, and Larry Weaver.

A quiet and soft-spoken man, Louie was respected by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need without expecting anything in return. He and Virginia enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends, occasions filled with laughter that brightened the room. In his later years, he found pleasure in visiting area casinos, not for the winnings he knew were unlikely, but for the atmosphere and the chance to visit with friends. Throughout his life, he took great joy in raising game cocks.

He is survived by his daughter, Paula Jones; three sons, David Weaver, Greg Weaver, and Darren Weaver; ten grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Jordan, Dakota, Will, Lynn, Jennifer, DeShanna Weaver, David Jones, and Jessica Saga; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Weaver.
