Lou Ann Gladson

Lou Ann Gladson of Elk Horn, Kentucky, daughter of the late Russell Eugene Cooper and Annabelle Burnett Cooper, was born on November 20, 1961, in Springfield, Illinois, and passed away on March 15, 2026, in Greensburg, Kentucky, at the age of 64.

A former security guard and devoted homemaker, Lou Ann lived her faith as a Christian. She found great joy in training dogs and horses, activities that reflected her patient and caring nature.

She is survived by her daughter, Audria Richmond and companion Stoy King of Elk Horn; her son, Jared Justin Gladson and wife Samantha of Louisville; her sister, Carmen Maurer, and brothers, Bill Cooper and Gary Cooper, all of Illinois; and four grandchildren, Rubye Richmond, Emmie Gladson, Jared Justin Gladson Jr., and Sammy Gladson, along with many other relatives and friends.
