Lorie Mae Williams, 59, died peacefully at home on March 9, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 18, 1966, to Joyce Ann Hayes and Milton Earl Williams Jr. in Moberly, Missouri, she spent most of her life there and graduated from Moberly High School with the class of 1985.

Lorie devoted 40 years to a career in health care, where her leadership, teamwork, and compassion earned her deep respect. She balanced her professional responsibilities with unwavering dedication to her family, raising her children with integrity and kindness that touched everyone who knew her. Throughout her life she remained kind, gracious, and compassionate, always appreciative of beauty and deeply devoted to those she loved.

She shared 37 meaningful years with her partner, Hurlee McHenry Jr., cherishing their life together until the very end. Lorie is survived by Hurlee McHenry Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; her children Jasman Williams of St. Louis, Missouri, Hurlee McHenry III of Kansas City, Missouri, Michael McHenry of Kansas City, Missouri, Quatonya Collins of Washington, DC, and Calvin McHenry of Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren; and her siblings James and Tonya Hayes of Jefferson City, Missouri, Teresa and Tony Crews of Columbia, Missouri, Ronald Brown Jr., Tisha Brown-Hayes of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Vanessa Brown. She was predeceased by her parents, Joyce Ann Hayes and Milton Earl Williams Jr.

Those who knew Lorie will remember her gentle spirit and the love she so freely gave, and they will carry her memory in their hearts.
