Lori Ann (Bare) Hundley of Olney, Illinois was born on January 25, 1961. She was thedevoted and only daughter of Don and Carolyn (Black) Bare. She was a loving sister toKevin Bare and treasured her family deeply throughout her life.
She was also the cherished mother of Matthew (Jamie) Hundley and the late Jonathan Hundley. Being a mom was one of Lori’s greatest joys, and her love for her family was at the center of her life. Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Meyer Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois with visitation starting at 3:00 PM until service time. Private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan of Richland County. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Lori cared deeply for people. With her witty humor and quick sarcasm, she always had away of making light of a situation and bringing laughter to those around her. Even indifficult moments, Lori had a fun way of lightening the moment and bringing smiles tothe room. Simply put—she was the best!
For 25 years, Lori worked as an office manager for Murvin Oil Company in Olney. Her dedication, loyalty, and consistency set a standard that is beyond words. Lori also volunteered for many years at the Good Samaritan of Richland County food bank.
Lori was very active in her church, First Assembly of God, where she served faithfully. She especially enjoyed greeting others and helping run “Cup of Joy” on Sundays. Her love for Jesus was evident in the way she lived her life. Her faith shined brightly and ran especially deep in her final days. She truly loved to worship the Lord!
Lori found great joy in traveling and getting away whenever she could. She very much enjoyed her frequent trips to St. Charles to visit Matthew and Jamie, bus trips with friends, and attending Senior Church Camp with her dad.
Lori is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jamie Hundley of St.Charles, Missouri; her special grand puppy, Charlie; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Carolyn Bare; her brother, Kevin Bare; and her infant son, Jonathan Hundley.
