Loretta Pridemore ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Mar. 6, 2026.MITCHELL – Loretta Pridemore, 90, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Cedar Creek of Bedford.Born July 27, 1935, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Lloyd Cleon and Melissa Ann (Carnes) Toliver. She married Wayne L. Pridemore on December 29, 1956 and he preceded her in death July 27, 2009.Loretta was a 1953 graduate of Orleans High School. She was a homemaker.Surviving are her children, Steven W. (Kimberly) Pridemore of Bedford, Brian R. Pridemore of Mitchell, and Cheryl A. (Mike) Landreth of Mitchell; grandchildren, Jarod Pridemore, Greg Pridemore, Carman Cavezza, Dustin Pridemore, Ethan Pridemore, Allison Landreth, and Ashley Glotzbach; seven great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Doris Fancher of Orleans and Nancy Jones of Orleans.Her parents; husband; and siblings, Larry Toliver, Dorothy "Dottie" White, Jack Toliver, and Jim Toliver, preceded her in death.Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 9, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Orleans.The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
